Schezwan vegetable rice I suppose there's a concept of the many, that Indo Chinese recipes are generally eaten as snacks or starters. however, it's not true, and there specific methods that may even be regarded as lunch or dinner. 

Schezwan dish recipe is one such yummy recipe, which makes an excellent combo when served the Manchurian recipe. It's one of the popular dishes which we usually see within the restaurant menus. The method of constructing a Schezwan Chinese fried rice dish is secure compared to other fried rice. The sole addition to the present Chinese fried rice is that the use of Schezwan Sauce. 

Adding the Schezwan sauce makes the appetite of the rice somewhat different and unique. Schezwan Chinese dish is simple and quick to make. It hardly takes quarter-hour if you have got pre-boiled rice and also the vegetables already chopped. Preparing the vegetables takes a lot of your time.

If you're longing for a spiced dish, then definitely this is often the one and you'll be able to enjoy it with any quite saucy dish. I'm going to share it with you all

Ingredients-

For Cooking Rice:-

  1. 1 and 1/2 cups basmati rice
  2. 6 cups of water
  3. ½ teaspoon salt
  4. ½ tsp oil

For Making Schezwan Fried Rice

  1. 2 cup finely chopped vegetables (here I used - 1 medium carrot, ¼ cup finely chopped cabbage, One small capsicum)

  2. Three garlic, Finely Chopped

  3. 2 tsp onion chopped

  4. Two tablespoon schezwan sauce 

  5. ¼ tsp crushed black pepper

  6. ½ tsp vinegar

  7. 2 tsp oil

  8. salt for taste

Instructions:-

Cooking Rice:- 

  1. Rinse rice very thoroughly till the water runs clear of starch. Soak the rice in enough water for 15 minutes

  2. Drain the water and keep aside.

  3. In a pot, bring to a gentle boil 6 cups of water with salt and 1/2 tsp of oil.

  4. Add the soaked and drained rice to the hot water.

  5. On a low to medium flame, cook the rice without the lid.

  6. When the rice becomes just cooked, remove the pot from the fire and strain the rice.

  7. Gently rinse the rice in water so that they stop cooking and don't stick to each other.

  8. Cover the rice and keep aside.

Making Schezwan Fried Rice:-

  • Finely chop all the vegetables.

  • Heat oil in a very wok. Add garlic and saute for 15 to twenty seconds.

  • Add the onions and all the vegetables.

  • Increase the flame and fry the vegetables on high heat.

  • Keep it up, stirring and tossing the vegetables on a high heat continuously. So they're equally browned and cooked.

  • When the edges of the veggies start to become brown, add schezwan sauce.

  • Stir then add the drained rice in parts. Mix and roll the rice with the veggies gently.

  • Season with salt, pepper, and vinegar. Stir and toss well so as that the sauce coats all the rice grains evenly.

  • Garnish with the spring onions greens. (Optional)


Note:-

The key to an honest stir-fried dish is it rice, is that the smoky flavor that you simply get within the plate. Now, this can be achieved by stir-frying at very high heat. Whenever I make these stir-fried rice, I keep the gas flame to the best. There needs to be

continuous stirring happening within the wok. Keep all of your sauces and seasonings ready. You can't take some time to open the soy bottle’s lid or open the jar of salt or pepper or chop the onion. Just prep everything and keep near your workspace. It's always better to use a pan or wok with handles as you have to stir and toss frequently.
